**What**: This workshop will cover key design principles you should consider when planning data visualizations -- from choosing the optimal chart or graph type for your data to the effective use of color, text, and annotations.

**Why**: Creating clear and interpretable data visualizations reduces the risk of misinterpretation, highlights true patterns, and allows others to reliably evaluate, replicate, and build on your findings.

**How**: This is a free **1 hour** webinar.

**Who**: This seminar is open to all Harvard affiliates from all disciplines, and the public research community. There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge.
