**Workshop Description: This second session invites workshop participants to examine expectations they and their mentees may bring to a mentoring relationship. This session will focus on identifying what those expectations might be, and the following two sessions in the series will delve deeper into how to effectively communicate with mentees.
By the end of the session participants will be able to:
- Discuss how to effectively establish mutually beneficial expectations for the mentoring relationship and how expectations between mentors and mentees can differ
- Explain the use of mentorship compacts to set expectations and facilitate open and transparent communication with mentors.
