**Part 2 Description:** Each section of a grant application has a job to do. When you grasp the function of each part, it will be easier to write them well. We will dig into the details of the Title, Abstract, Specific Aims; and Research Strategy: Significance, Innovation, and Approach.

 **Grantcraft Series Description**: Successful grant applicants are made, not born. In this detailed workshop, Dr. Vogel will cover the federal grant process and “grant culture”, mechanisms of funding for new investigators, choosing a “fundable” research problem, writing a competitive application, the NIH system of peer review. Presented by Dr. Donna Vogel

**Speaker Bio**: Dr. Donna Vogel specializes in professional skill-building for developing scientists. Her medical and research background are in endocrinology and developmental biology, with an interest in male infertility and reproductive medicine.
