Mentor Training Series: Fostering Motivation Among Mentees

Workshop Description: By the end of the session participants will be able to 1) discuss and define intrinsic and extrinsic motivation; 2) recognize the importance of motivation-focused mentorship; and 3) engage in conversations on how to utilize the CARES model & other strategies to foster motivation among mentees.
Series Description: The DF/HCC CURE and UMass Boston U54 REC Programs will be hosting a series of workshops focused on mentorship development and shared practice for current, past and prospective mentors. This is a six-part workshop series, running Nov. 2020-May 2021. We encourage you to attend all workshops in this series.
