About the Speaker: Sotirios G. Stergiopoulos, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs (GMA) for Ipsen Biosciences, a Global Biotechnology company with headquarters in Boulogne (Paris), France. Dr. Stergiopoulos is a physician executive with significant experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry, especially in Oncology. Prior to joining Ipsen, Sotirios has held roles of leadership such as Vice President, Head of Global Medical Affairs Oncology at Baxalta (now Shire, Cambridge, MA), as well as in companies such as Celgene Corporation and Novartis Pharmaceuticals. He has held appointments as an Attending Physician and trainee in institutions such as Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Harvard Medical School and the National Institutes of Health
