**Description:** In this workshop, accountant Bob Underwood will discuss tax planning and tax implications for postdocs who receive a W-2 versus a 1099. Other topics to be discussed include tuition credits, estimated tax payments, student loan interest deductions and unreimbursed employee expenses.
