Simmons University's Center for Excellence in Teaching (CET) and the HMS/HSDM Office for Postdoctoral Fellows is co-hosting "Teaching in Action" on Monday, August 3 from 1-3pm.

Description: Are you interested in learning new teaching techniques based on learning science? Are you looking for advice on professional growth, the academic job search, and transitioning to a teaching career? 
This interactive program is designed for early career faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. 

The first part of this program will consist of four teaching technique demonstrations by Simmons faculty, followed by a faculty panel discussion providing advice on transitioning to a teaching career and advice for new faculty.

Workshop facilitators: The facilitators of this program are Jennifer Herman (CET), Ruthann Thomas (CET), Cherie Ramirez (Chemistry/Physics), Matt Schwartz (Biology), and Lisa Brown (Nutrition).
This workshop is co-sponsored and co-hosted with the Simmons University Center for Excellence in Teaching.
