DESCRIPTION:<a data-url="https://ajss-3-29-18.eventbrite.com" href="https://ajss-3-29-18.eventbrite.com" target="_blank" title=""><strong>REGISTER</strong></a><br><em>This event is part of the Academic Job Search Series</em><br>Preparing Job Search Materials:<br>• Writing Effective Teaching Statements | 4:30-5:30pm<br>• Writing Effective Diversity Statements | 5:30-6:30pm<br>Attendees for these two seminars will have the opportunity to interact with experts from Tufts University and Northeastern University who have extensive experience delivering workshops on writing teaching and diversity statements. The sessions will in a seminar style (with some discussion activities for those in the audience), and there will not be time for individual statement reviews.<br><strong>Presenters:</strong><br><strong>Mitch McVey, PhD</strong>, Associate Professor of Molecular Biology, Tufts University<br><strong>Kathy Takayama PhD</strong>, formerly of the Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Research, Northeastern University<br><br><strong><em>Co-sponsored with the HMS Program in Graduate Education</em></strong><br>
