The idea behind the R3 Graduate Science Program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School Public Health came from the realization that we needed to focus on a formal approach to teaching the philosophical basics of science, comprising epistemology, ethics and methods. The R3 program's name is inspired by the three core norms of good scientific practice - rigor, reproducibility and responsibility. The program’s mission is to bring more critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical ethics considerations into graduate student training in biomedicine, health, engineering, and technology. </span></span></span></span></p><p style="margin:0in0in0.0001pt">	<span><span style="sans-serif"><span style="caret-color:#000000"><span style="color:#000000">Speaker: Gundula Bosch, PhD, MS, MEd, </span></span></span></span><span><span style="sans-serif"><span style="caret-color:#000000"><span style="color:#000000">Director, R3 Graduate Science Program and JHSPH R3 Center for Innovation in Science Education, </span></span></span></span><span><span style="sans-serif"><span style="caret-color:#000000"><span style="color:#000000">Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health</span></span></span></span></p><p style="margin:0in0in0.0001pt">	<a data-url="https://curriculumfellows.hms.harvard.edu/event/fall-2019%C2%A0curriculum-fellows-graduate-science-education-seminar" href="https://curriculumfellows.hms.harvard.edu/event/fall-2019%C2%A0curriculum-fellows-graduate-science-education-seminar" target="_blank" title="">More info and register</a></p><p>	 </p>
