In this workshop, presented by Samaritans, we will discuss the role that individuals can play in preventing suicide. Throughout the webinar participants will develop a better understanding of risk factors and warning signs of suicide, active listening skills, best practices for asking about suicide, and how to get an individual help. Participants will leave the workshop feeling better equipped to handle difficult situations and conversations with individuals at risk for suicide.<br><em>This workshop is presented in collaboration with the Harvard Longwood Campus Office for Work Life, and will feature representatives from the </em><a data-url="https://samaritanshope.org" href="https://samaritanshope.org" target="_blank" title="">Samaritans organization</a></p>
