In this detailed workshop, Dr. Vogel will cover the federal grant process and “grant culture”, mechanisms of funding for new investigators, choosing a “fundable” research problem, writing a competitive application, the NIH system of peer review. Presented by Dr. Donna Vogel<br><br><strong>Speaker Bio</strong>: Dr. Donna Vogel specializes in professional skill-building for developing scientists. Her medical and research background are in endocrinology and developmental biology, with an interest in male infertility and reproductive medicine. She has extensive experience in basic and clinical research, directing grant programs, and higher education.</p>
