The class addresses how adults learn, parts of a talk, and how speaking differs from writing, and how to use audiovisual aids to enhance your  message. Finally, we cover how to deal with nervousness and conduct an effective question and answer session.<br><span><span><strong>Speaker Bio:</strong></span><span> Dr. Donna Vogel specializes in professional skill-building for developing scientists. Her medical and research background are in endocrinology and developmental biology, with an interest in male infertility and reproductive medicine. She has extensive experience in basic and clinical research, directing grant programs, and higher education. Interestingly, she is also a four-day Jeopardy! winner and Tournament of Champions semifinalist.
