Professional development for the postdoctoral community
The Postdoc Academy is a comprehensive online and in-person program built on the National Postdoctoral Association core competencies to support skill development throughout postdoc training, from orientation to next career step.
This program consists of two (free!) online courses and in-person learning communities, built specifically for postdocs. The content uses inclusive, active-learning approaches to be a resource for the postdoc audience directly, as well as postdoc offices and associations. The first course, called “The Postdoc Academy: Finding Success as a Postdoc” and in-person learning communities begin on January 13th, 2020.
Coming soon: Postdoc Academy Learning Sessions (PALS) are the in-person component of the Postdoc Academy. These learning communities support online learning by connecting content directly to the local context and community, and also by promoting deeper learning of the material. PALS are small groups of postdocs who meet in-person weekly while taking the online course.
