HMS/HSDM Office for Postdoctoral Fellows
Welcome
Our Mission: The HMS/HSDM Office for Postdoctoral Fellows (OPF) works to enhance the development and experience of the postdoctoral community. Through a combination of administrative initiatives and educational activities, the OPF actively assists postdoc fellows in obtaining the skills necessary to pursue their careers in science and beyond. By supplementing the training received in the lab with career guidance, professional development, and responsible conduct of research instruction, the office seeks to recruit, retain, and train the best biomedical researchers and scientific leaders of tomorrow.
Services & Information
The Harvard Ombuds Office is a confidential resource available to anyone from Harvard’s community. A discussion with an Ombuds can help a visitor voice concerns, clarify goals and consider options so that they can make their own best decisions about next steps. Any issue affecting one’s work or studies may be brought to an Ombuds. You can make an appointment here.
For general questions or advice, you can email the Postdoc Office directly at postdoc_office@hms.harvard.edu and someone will get back to you as soon as we can.
