Session Description:  This session will focus on the importance of facilitating open and transparent communication to set mutually beneficial expectations for mentoring relationships. We will review and explore tools that support aligning expectations for research and professional development and discuss scenarios to reflect on your practices.
*This session is required to obtain a certificate of completion for the mentor series.
Series Description: The Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center CURE Program and UMass Boston Research Education Core Program, in collaboration with the HMS/HSDM Office of Postdoctoral Fellows, are offering a series of mentor training workshops focused on mentorship development and shared practice for current, past, and prospective mentors. Our sessions are founded on evidence-based curriculum published by CIMER as well as our own 20-year experience in the space of student training.
