Mentor Training: Showcasing Your Contributions to Diversity and Inclusion

Session Description:  In this interactive workshop, participants will explore opportunities to demonstrate and enhance their commitment to diversity and inclusion. Reflections and small group activities will be used to help identify formal and informal ways that you have personally contributed to the advancement of diversity and inclusion. This workshop will conclude with recommendations for where and how to best highlight the impact of your efforts for multiple audiences using different mediums.
Series Description: The Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center CURE Program and UMass Boston Research Education Core Program, in collaboration with the HMS/HSDM Office of Postdoctoral Fellows, are offering a series of mentor training workshops focused on mentorship development and shared practice for current, past, and prospective mentors. Our sessions are founded on evidence-based curriculum published by CIMER as well as our own 20-year experience in the space of student training.
