Workshop Description: You’re expected to publish - but have you learned how? This class focuses on planning a paper, presenting your data, and principles of effective scientific writing. We will learn about the “anatomy and physiology” of a research paper: the content and purpose of each section - the Abstract, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results and Discussion, with common mistakes and how to avoid them.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Donna Vogel specializes in professional skill-building for developing scientists. Her medical and research background are in endocrinology and developmental biology, with an interest in male infertility and reproductive medicine. She has extensive experience in basic and clinical research, directing grant programs, and higher education.
