NIH - Diversity and Re-entry Supplements: LOIs due May 31
The NIH has issued RFAs for competitive administrative supplements designed to support individual investigators meeting specific criteria. Harvard Catalyst’s grant is eligible to apply for these supplements and can submit up to two applications on behalf of individual investigators for each of the following supplements:
- Diversity Research Supplement: Designed to improve the diversity of the research workforce by supporting eligible investigators from diverse backgrounds, including those from groups that have been underrepresented in health-related research. The Diversity Research Supplement is also available to PIs of research grants who are or will become disabled and need additional support to accommodate their disability in order to continue their research.
- Re-Entry Research Supplement: Designed to support individuals with high potential to re-enter an active research career after an interruption related to family responsibilities or other qualifying circumstances.
If you are interested in applying for a supplement, you must first submit an LOI for review by May 31. We will then invite chosen candidates to submit a full proposal to NCATS. Harvard Catalyst can sponsor up to two candidates per supplement.
