Description: This seminar will discuss ways that you can become a better candidate for a position in industry while completing your research training. Lauren will focus on research and non‐research positions such as consulting, business development, writing, and medical affairs. This seminar will cover how to incorporate collaborative research into projects, how to learn hard and soft skills valued by industry, and various ways to gain management and leadership skills. Importantly, this seminar will discuss how trainees already possess many skills valued by industry, and ways to discuss and highlight these skills.
