DEADLINE: 2025 New England Future Faculty Workshop

Workshop Dates: Wednesday, August 6, 2025 through Thursday, August 7, 2025

Registration deadline June 30, 2025

This virtual, two-day conference will include the following topics:

Day 1- Getting Noticed

• Find your institutional fit
• Craft your research, teaching, and application statements
• Make your CV stand out

Day 2- Securing and Starting Your Position

• Unmask the hidden curriculum
• Master time management
• Hone your interview and negotiation skills
• Design a first-year quick-start plan

The application will consist of:

1. A brief statement on why the applicant wishes to attend this workshop and what they hope to gain from it
2. A complete curriculum vitae
3. A cover letter
4. Drafts of the applicant’s research and teaching statements

While we understand that you may be just beginning to create these materials, a draft must contain enough information for the opportunity to receive substantive feedback from faculty.
