Description: Effective Scientific Presentations covers content and delivery of a biomedical research presentation. Participants learn how to plan, organize and deliver a scientific talk that is both informative and interesting to the audience. We will address how adults learn, and how speaking differs from writing. Participants learn how to use audiovisual aids to enhance their message. Finally, participants learn how to deal with nervousness and conduct an effective question and answer session.
