protocols.io is an open science platform for sharing and discovering up-to-date research methods. Publishing the methods from research manuscripts helps to increase the reproducibility of the published research, and reduce the common but unhelpful “contact author for details” or “we used a slightly modified version of the protocol reported in paper XYZ”.

Come learn about protocols.io, and see how your colleagues at Harvard are already using it.

Part 1: Refining CycIF Protocols -- a HiTS use case
Connor Jacobson, Research Assistant, Harvard Program for Therapeutics Sciences (HiTS), Harvard Medical School

Part 2: Getting Started with protocols.io -- a hands-on workshop
Lenny Teytelman, PhD, CEO and Cofounder, protocols.io

The workshop will be hands-on and is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and faculty across disciplines. No knowledge of programming or other specialized tools is required. Participants should bring their own laptop in order to participate.
