Workshop Description: Postdocs are faced with many obstacles in their pursuit of being an independent investigator, none more frustrating than getting the most out of their training. Jim Gould, director of the Office of Postdoctoral Fellows will lay out strategies for choosing the right research environment to thrive as a postdoc as well as planning, and executing, a successful postdoc tenure. Designed for current and future postdocs, the session will cover what you need know, and do, to efficiently advance in your early research career.
