Registration for Mental Health: The Myths and The Realities
This workshop will include general information about mental illness, the prevalence of common disorders, and the myths that contribute to stigma. We will discuss what defines a mental illness, how it develops, as well as some jargon-free signs that someone might be experiencing mental health problems. Lastly, we will address stigma, how we can play a part in combatting it, and how it may be internalized.
