Session 4: Delivering and Refining Your Teaching Demo (In Person)
Description:
In this interactive session, participants will practice delivering their teaching demonstrations in a supportive environment. The focus will be on simulating real interview conditions, including engaging with “students” (the cohort). Participants will troubleshoot common challenges such as time management, handling difficult questions, and overcoming performance anxiety. Each participant will present a 15–20 minute demo and receive structured feedback from peers and facilitators using a rubric aligned with faculty search expectations. This session provides an invaluable opportunity to refine presentation skills and strengthen confidence before the real interview.
