Workshop Description: This  seminar  provides  an  overview  of  the  various  professional  associations,  groups,  and  other organizations that are active in the Boston area life sciences ecosystem.  The seminar will highlight some of the various networking events,  conferences, and meetings  happening in the Boston area as well as other resources to be aware of to learn more about the life sciences area and even potentially connect with people to learn about specific career paths. This seminar will also cover news sources and websites useful to gain information about specific research areas and/or industry trends related to different areas of  the  life  sciences  sector.  Lastly,  this  seminar  will  discuss  how  to  utilize  these  sources  to  identify organizations and people of interest and how to follow up with them to build a career network.
